Statement of Solidarity
The Stonewall Sports Wilmington Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative asserts that systemic oppression, microaggressions, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, bigotry, bias, white supremacy, and discrimination are harmful to individuals and the collective community. We stand in solidarity with all individuals and do not tolerate bias or discrimination on the basis of age, race, sex, national origin, religion, physical or mental disability, medical condition, political affiliation, marital status, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
Our Mission
Stonewall Sports Wilmington prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion and is devoted to building an environment that values, engages with, and includes a diverse community and fosters a sense of belonging.
Our Purpose
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative fosters a commitment to convening and nurturing a diverse community of participants by striving to ensure that everyone feels safe,
supported, and respected.
Our Values
The work of the DEI pledge is built on five core values that act as our compass : access, equity, diversity, inclusion, and community and belonging.
Who We Are
Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Stonewall Sports Wilmington Board Member; Advisory Council - made up of up to 6 members from the Stonewall Sports Wilmington community.
