REGISTRATION COSTS/DATES:

• Legacy registration (anyone who has played a Stonewall sport in the past calendar year dating back to 2023 Summer 1 Volleyball*): 6/16-6/19 (noon to noon), $62
• Early Bird registration (open to public): 6/19-6/23 (12:01p to 11:59p) $62
• Regular registration (open to public): 6/24-6/30 (12:00a to 11:59p) $75

*Legacy players will receive an email at their LeagueApps-associated email accounts with the password to register. Password will be removed at Noon ET on 6/19. 

IMPORTANT NOTES: Initial caps on teams (18) and free agents (30) will be increased to (27) and (50) when Early Bird registration opens and password is removed at at noon on 6/19. If you must join the waitlist, fear not! We more than likely have room in the league, just need to control numbers as to not overfill. Monitor your LeagueApps-associated emails closely for updates/invoices throughout the registration process. 

DETAILS

4’s, Monday nights (6:15p/8:45), July 22–September 23 (10 weeks)

Start times will alternate between 6:15p and 8:45p each week.

Team rosters should have a minimum of 6 players (with one captain), but only 4 will play at a time. Teams can choose to substitute players each game or on a rotation basis in-game. Teams can have up to 8 players. Teams who sign up with less than 6 players will have free agents added to their teams.

• Participant Pledge: We are an inclusive league that encourages all to play and have fun. All players must sign a waiver in addition to a participant pledge that prohibits discrimination on the basis of age, race, sex, national origin, religion, physical or mental disability, medical condition, political affiliation, marital status, gender identity, or sexual orientation; in addition to bullying or unsportspersonlike behavior to other players or referees. Failure to adhere to these guidelines can result in removal from the league.

• T-Shirts: All teams will also receive t-shirts, which must be worn during play. Exceptions include those who want to play shirtless/in sports bras.

HOW TO REGISTER

• Have a team already? Choose a captain; have them register as a captain with a team name; and then register as a team player for that team.

• Don’t have a team? Register as a free agent or a small group (limit of 3 players per group), and we’ll place you with other Stonewallers according to your skill level.

SKILL LEVELS:
We are doing skill levels differently this season. Below is more information on the skill levels that will be listed in the drop-down menu during registration.

• Here for FUN: You are a beginner OR would like to play in a more social setting. You enjoy playing volleyball and are just beginning to learn the game. You don’t always aim for three hits to get the ball over.
• Competitive: You have a strong foundation of skills but are building consistency in those skills. You aim to get a bump-set-attack but may not always execute. You have several years of experience playing volleyball.
• Skilled: You have excellent court awareness and know all the skills and rules well and rarely make unforced errors. Volleys at this level will almost always be three hits. You are also considered fairly athletic and have many years of experience.
• Advanced: You are an elite player who has a great understanding of the game and objectives, are above average in multiple or all skills and are considered extremely athletic. This is the highest level of play with advanced strategies employed during the game.

CAPTAINS
Team captains must be available to communicate with the league director prior to and throughout the season as well as manage their teams and communicate to players important updates. Roster spots are not guaranteed just because a team captain creates a team - all team members must register by the registration deadline or before the league hits capacity to confirm a spot on a specific team. If captains cannot be reached prior to the season, they may lose their team slot. We will fill up - register early!

FREE AGENTS & SMALL GROUPS
Free agents can sign up individually and will be added to a team based on skill level indicated. Small groups of up to 3 can register together and we will do our best to place them on teams together.
